29.

This year, I've been focusing my energies on self-improvement and getting to know ME for what feels like the first time in my life. Knowing myself seems like a no-brainer, but I'm complicated. As I learn more about myself, I'm unveiling things I don't always understand, which is just confusing at times.

The great thing about this process is that the more I know myself, the more I can make better choices about my life and the direction I want to go. When you realize that the life you experience is an accumulation of choices, you'll start making better ones.

I also just celebrated my 29th birthday (YAY) and man...There's just something about this year. I got to hang with my friends, celebrate with my amazing work family, and spend quality time with my parentals. My bro (in Fargo, ND) even sent me a gift card to Buffalo Exchange because he knows my #oldiebutgoodie thrifting style. Being 28 and turning 29 has me in my feelings. I feel change. I feel growth. And it feels good. I recently heard something about Saturn Return and uh....yea. All me.

"Every 29.5 years (approximately), you’ll get the nudge you need to advance into a new stage of adulthood. In astrology, we call it the Saturn Return. There’s a very obvious reason for this name: Saturn takes approximately 29.5 years to complete one full orbit around the Sun and literally return to the same zodiac sign it was in when you were born. The first Saturn Return, which can happen between ages 27 and 30, is a bit like a cosmic bar mitzvah, quinceanera or communion if you will: a rite of passage welcoming you into your more mature role here on Earth."

Anyway, this year has been really [interesting]. 29 is gonna be dope.
